S19 Express Road, Lot B – signing of the contract

The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 9 August 2018, the Company concluded with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways – Rzeszów Branch the contract for the “Design and construction of the S19 express road on the section from the Nisko Południe junction (without junction) to the Sokołów Małopolski Północ junction (including the junction), divided into three lots. Lot B from the Podgórze junction (including the junction) to the Kamień junction (without the junction) with the length of approx. 10.5 km.” 

Budimex S.A. announced that the Ordering Party selected the Company’s bid as the most advantageous one in the tender in the current report No 16/2018 of 29 March 2018.

Contract value: PLN 271,154,970.02 net.

Works commencement date: from the contract date

Works completion date: 34 months from the contract date

Guarantee period: 120 months

Statutory warranty period: 60 months

Advance payment: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount

Payment conditions: within 30 days of the date of delivery of correctly issued VAT invoices to the Ordering Party

Bank performance bond: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount.

Penalties payable by the Contractor: The total value of contractual penalties due for the Ordering Party shall not exceed 20% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount.

Penalties payable by the Ordering Party: 15% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount for withdrawal from the contract due to reasons attributable to the Ordering Party.

The Ordering Party reserves the right to demand supplemental damages in excess of contractual penalties up to the amount of the actual loss that was incurred.

Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards. 

The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 127,386 thousand net.
