Selection of the most advantageous bid for the Design and construction of the S61 express road between Szczuczyn and Budzisko (state border) divided into tasks: Task 1 between Szczuczyn municipality and Ełk Południe junction

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 13 June 2018, it was informed by the Olsztyn Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways about the selection of the Company’s bid as the most advantageous one in the procurement procedure for the “Design and construction of the S61 express road between Szczuczyn and Budzisko (state border) divided into tasks: Task 1 between Szczuczyn municipality and Ełk Południe junction”.

Bid value: PLN 546,752,596.00 net.

Commencement date: on the Contract conclusion date.

Completion date: 29 months from the Contract date.

Guarantee period for main works: from 5 to 10 years

Statutory warranty period: 60 months

Maximum penalties payable by the Contractor: up to 20% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount

Advance payment: from 5% to 10% of the accepted gross contract amount.

Payment conditions: within 30 days of the date of delivery of VAT invoices to the Employer, issued for the amounts certified in Payment Certificates.

Bank performance bond: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount.

The Employer reserves the right to demand supplemental damages in excess of contractual penalties to the amount of the actual loss that was incurred or could be incurred due to the improper performance of the Contract by the Contractor.

Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.

The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 127,386 thousand net.
