Construction of a bridge over Vistula in Kwidzyn
Description of the project
The construction of an 808-metre long extradosed bridge with 6 spans and 2 traffic lanes over Vistula connected two regions: Powiśle and Kociewie. With direct transit to the other side of the river, the journey from Kwidzyn to Tricity has been shortened by an hour. In addition, access roads were constructed within the national road No 90. The bridge in Kwidzyn is the longest structure of this type in Europe. In November 2013, it won a special award in the 5th edition of the Maximilian Wolff Bridge Contest. The net value of the project was PLN 253 million.
