Budimex will construct another section of S17

On 27 January 2016, Budimex signed a contract for the design and construction of the S17 express road between Warsaw and Garwolin at the Kołbiel–Garwolin section with the Lublin Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.
The net value of the contract amounts to PLN 235.8 million. Under the project, Budimex will design and construct a 13-kilometer section of two-lane express road at the section from the end of the Kołbiel ring road to the beginning of the Garwolin ring road.
Budimex is supposed to complete the project within 34 months. Winter periods (from mid-December to mid-March) will be excluded from the project completion time.
It is yet another contract of Budimex for the construction of S17. On 22 September2015, Budimex signed two contracts for the design and construction of two sections of the S17 express road Garwolin–Kurów: from Garwolin to Gończyce (PLN 234.6 million net) and from Gończyce to the border of the Lublin and Mazovian Voivodeships (PLN 255 million net). The total length of the sections is 25.2 km.
