Budimex signs contract with PKN ORLEN SA

On 21 October 2015, Budimex signed a contract with Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen for the construction of a complete state-of-the-art multi-chamber reactor installation for decarbonization processes together with related facilities on the EPC basis (Engineering, Procurement and Construction).
The value of the contract amounts to PLN 27.5 million net. Budimex is required to perform it by the end of 2016.
 
Power and industrial construction is one of Budimex strategic development directions. Currently, the company is carrying out contracts for the total value of over PLN 800 million for the PGE, EDF and PGNiG Groups as well as public clients.
In December 2014, Budimex signed a contract for the design and construction of a new peak load boiler room at the heat and power generating plant in Gdynia. In Turów, as part of a consortium with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe GmbH and Tecnicas Reunidas SA, the company is building a new power unit. At the Siekierki CHP, as part of a consortium with Andritz Energy & Environment GmbH, Budimex develops and retrofits the flue-gas denitrification and desulphurization plants. The Company has also constructed the Communal Waste Neutralization Plant in Białystok and is now about to commission the facility. Other completed investment projects include waste neutralization and sorting plants in Ostrów Wielkopolski and Biechów.
